How did I started painting? How do I get inspiration? What inspired me?
For me - painting, drawing, doing sketches is like meditating or listen to certain type of music. It is a time when I free my mind from the rest of the world. Do I draw when I am in a bad mood? Yes - and perhaps even more so. It gives me harmony and lets me calm down, it is like a secret door that leads me to a different world.
Why are we painting or drawing?
The answer could be because we are inspired by something but what are we inspired by? What is the reason for it?
Is this the expression of strong feelings in a particular moment? Is it just the particular situation or are we so affected emotionally by the life surrounding us and our history and cultural environment …?
Is it that our upbringing has affected us and made us be the way we are right now or is it just everything together that makes us put our senses on the canvas or a piece of paper?
I think it is a little bit of everything at once and a growing addiction to the smell of paint and colour pencils.
